Nixon's A Glorious Spring Morning is an original 16x20 acrylic landscape painting on watercolor paper. It began as a demonstration of numerous painting techniques and compositional principles for my Art I high school class. Later, I had the creative desire to turn it into a full fledged painting. I chose the season, Spring,as it is my favorite.I love a sunny morning as it is so inspirational. It inspires one to; contemplate the meaning of life, to plan one activities, and to be thankful ofr life,
Beauty is represented by; the fluffy clouds being bathed in sunlight, the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in the background, the pattren of rolling hills, the colorful meadow, and all the colorful blossoms and flowers in the foreground. It represents serene peace and tranquility!
