Painting - Acrylics On Canvas
Description
Nixon's Colorful Remnant Of The Past is an original 18x24 acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. If you love Impasto, then you will be thrilled by this rich textural painting. The rich, bright Matisse acrylics are ready to leap off the canvas, awaiting your touch. The idea came from a rural scene in Greene County, Virginia on a dirt/gravel road. The wooden abandoned building is surrounded by trees, bushes, foliage, vines, and wildflowers in a fall scene.
I was thrilled and amazed by the vibrant colors and textures forming a spectacular pattern. So, I created a circular composition that was established by the violets, yellows, and reds directing the viewer's eye.
