Lee, I don't know why you had the filter on this one but that is o.k. because it got my attention really fast. (Enquiring minds...you know....) I like this so much!!!! I plan to return to your site and view much more. It is not very cool where I am right now in the computer room. So it is hard to think straight....or even curved.....smiles, aew

Lee Nixon replied:

Thanks Anne for the encouraging comments. I hope to create many more compositions in neutral and monochromatic tones in the near future. Thanks again.

About Lee Nixon

Lee Nixon

About The Artist ARTIST STATEMENT The Depiction of light, devised through vibrant colors is the essence of my work! And, being outside brings joy to my soul. It engages all of the senses; touch, smell, taste, and sight. Now, I am in my studio. Splashes of colorful washes are applied to a blank canvas. My palette is loaded with bright complementary colors. The sense of touch is enlightened through the application of modeling paste, tissue paper, or found objects, natural or man-made. As a Contemporary Impressionist artist, I experiment with light through the usage of structural impasto acrylics. Creating beauty is a passionate enjoyment for me especially after receiving comments such as; 'Your work brought peace to my heart',...
