From the profile perspective, it resembles a trumpet blasting an important announcement. It is part of a series of Floral painting, Double Take. Each flower is painted twice to capture a different perspective.

It engages all of the senses; touch, smell, taste, and sight. Now, I am in my studio. Splashes of colorful washes are applied to a blank canvas. My palette is loaded with bright complementary colors.
